For several years now, I have continued to live out my passion for music and drums by passing on my knowledge. In recent years, I have gained valuable experience at various music schools as well as in private and municipal settings, attended workshops and also continued my education through self-study and at the University of Music and Dance during my artistic studies, gaining an additional pedagogical qualification.

Studied at the renowned University of Music and Dance in Cologne. Thanks to my in-depth studies in education, I am not only a passionate drummer, but also have a sound knowledge of music education. This includes further training with Percussion Creative, Jörg Fabig and others. I also have a lot of experience with live gigs and real practice - from gigs in Europe to China.
Flexible teaching concept for your personal pace
My teaching concept is as flexible as you need it to be. You can choose between 5 or 10-lesson cards, and the lesson dates are arranged individually. You are also welcome to come every week. Your progress and goals are the focus.

Where does the class take place?
My classroom in Cologne is equipped with two high-quality, fully microphoned drum sets and cajons. Here you can not only learn, but also make your own recordings to document your progress. After individual consultation, the lessons can also take place in the comfort of your own home or online.

Q & A
Isn't playing drums too loud, and do you need a rehearsal room for it?
I can answer this question with a clear "no"! There are numerous solutions for practicing drums at home. Electronic drums from many manufacturers have developed impressively over the years. You put on your headphones and off you go! These electronic drums don't even take up much space and can simply be folded up after practice. So you don't necessarily need a detached house, an insulated basement or a rehearsal room.
How much does it cost to buy a drum kit?
You can find acoustic and electronic drum sets in classified ads for as little as €150-300. This means you are fully equipped and ready to go.
Does playing the drums affect academic/work performance and other activities?
Absolutely! Playing the drums helps to improve concentration. Since all limbs are used independently of one another, motor skills are stimulated and improved. Since drumming involves a lot of movement, it is also good for your health.
How much time do you need to practice?
That depends on your needs and goals. Even 10 minutes a day can help you improve. But the general rule is: you should only practice when you feel like it and are motivated.
Can you practice without drums?
Yes! There are some body percussion exercises that work without drums. They are mainly about improving coordination.
Where is the music?
My lessons are based on musical expression. Songs are played in the first lessons and musical ear is encouraged. Yes, you can also play melodies with the drum set. And what could be better than making music?
